aspirations. Each room within your financial home will represent
a personal goal or ambition.
Like an ordinary home your financial home has rooms.
In a traditional home you are likely to have rooms such as
a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc
In your financial home you may well have a retirement room,
savings room, family protection room etc.
In your traditional home the rooms do not become functional
until furniture is added. The bedroom is not a bedroom until
it contains a bed, wardrobe, mirror etc. A bathroom is not
a bathroom until it contains a bath, toilet, basin etc.
The same applies to your financial home.
For example your retirement room is not functional until it
contains a pension plan, ISA, second property etc. Your estate
planning room is not functional until it contains a valid
will, a regular gifting arrangement, investments in trust
etc.
As with a traditional house, your financial home will be
unique to you. Your furniture will not be the same as your
neighbours.

Many of our clients also want Independent Options to provide
a maintenance program to review their financial home and furniture
on a regular basis to ensure it still remains appropriate
to their changing circumstances, revised goals and the changing
financial markets.
As an Independent Financial Adviser your financial architect
is able to select from all the products available in the market
place – ensuring that you receive advice that best fits
your needs. As IFA’s it is our job to research and recommend
the most appropriate financial solutions for you. We will
ask you a range of questions about your circumstances, your
attitude to risk your financial goals and then offer a solution
that is perfectly fitted for you! You will be given a choice
of how to pay for our services this will be either by fee,
a mixture of fee and commission or commission.
